Shattering labels, the expansive realm of electronica has been reshaped by a transformative wave led by trans+ artists like the late SOPHIE, Arca, FRAX, and now Sissy Misfit's CEHENNEM.

In tune with the ethos of Dr. Martens and Rick Owens, this creatively boundless space is a hotbed for innovation and reinvention, allowing diverse samples to sculpt unconventional sounds, ranging from industrial to ambient. The authentic electronic music scene, aligned with queer identity, liberates individuals, attracting a generation of creatives and promoting self-discovery. This creative freedom has evolved music into a safe haven for inclusion, challenging norms, and advancing subculture.

In an generation that's hungry for more community and representation, Sissy Misfit‘s CEHENNEM has emerged as a vital live music platform that supports a special lineup of trans+, queer, and non-binary producers and performers – artists who's importance leap beyond musicianship. They are a voice and a point of liberation for LGBTQIA+ individuals. The visibility and authenticity of these emerging talents challenge stereotypes, fostering greater acceptance within the music industry and further.

Cold Archive documented the 9th edition of CEHENNEM, supported by Dr Martens, and captured moments as attendees geared up for a night of intense electronica dancing in their Dr. Martens x Rick Owens boots.
